about me
I’m a freelance filmmaker and cinematographer driven by authentic and creative storytelling.
I believe in being intentional with the media that I create, to elevate each project and bringing forth the story behind each person, business, idea and cause. I’m drawn to stories like documentaries and covering the work done by brilliant NGOs around the world. Being able to use my creativity and passion for filmmaking to help to tell powerful stories gives me joy.
My upbringing was not a typical one, growing up as a missionary kid in Paraguay, South America. I spent most of my formative years there and being exposed to different cultures and the stories of people from all walks of life had a lasting impact on me. From a young age, I started taking photos for different humanitarian projects and causes in Paraguay, which then led me to doing work abroad in places like Mexico and Nepal. I then caught the bug of filmmaking, which made me realize it’s potential to tell captivating and powerful stories. My background has shaped me and influenced me in what I value in expressing my creativity. To show kindness, connect and value to each person in front of the camera. To portray authenticity and bring intentionality in every project that I do. I want to help and make a difference with the storytelling and creativity that I bring to the table.
I later moved back to Stockholm to study film at Kaggeholm Folkhogskola and start my freelance career. Gaining experience in the craft and working on different productions to elevate my skill.
Since then, my passion for filmmaking has brought me around the world. Currently I am working with Mercy Ships telling stories of transformation in West Africa.
